I was drawn to this because it seemed so unique and be because I love all things tech, even when the old way was not broken, I wanted to try it. I really love the feel of the product. It feels like it was made with very high quality materials. The pairing was simple and everything app wise worked as it should. Good UX can make or break any new tech, this was a better experience than I was ready for. The counting seemed accurate, but it took several sessions for me to get the handle of the handles because it's close but not the same as one continuous rope. Part of this is that we rely on visuals to tell us when to jump and calculate our timing and we 100% know that we did not do it correctly when a rope slaps our ankles.I would advise starting with the included rope and get used to the feeling. Then break your session into two or three parts. Starting with rope, then switching to the weighted balls, then back to rope. Keep using the rope less and less and within a week or two you will be just using the handles and feel pretty confident in the numbers. All in all, this is an excellent product that just requires some patience and getting used to a new way of jumping rope... without a rope.
