Osprey Ring — Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the Osprey Ring mobile application ("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

Osprey Ring is a health and fitness monitoring application that connects to the Osprey Smart Ring via Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) to collect and display health data including heart rate, blood oxygen (SpO2), body temperature, sleep patterns, step count, and exercise tracking.

3. Account Registration

You must create an account to use the App. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities under your account. You must provide accurate and complete information during registration.

4. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use the App. By using the App, you represent that you meet this age requirement.

5. Health Data Disclaimer

The App is intended for general wellness purposes only and is not a medical device. Health data provided by the App (including heart rate, SpO2, blood pressure estimates, and blood glucose estimates) should not be used for medical diagnosis, treatment, or prevention of any disease or condition.

Always consult a qualified healthcare professional for medical advice. Do not disregard professional medical advice or delay seeking treatment based on information provided by the App.

6. User Responsibilities

  • You agree to use the App only for lawful purposes
  • You will not attempt to reverse-engineer, modify, or tamper with the App
  • You will not use the App to collect data from other users without consent
  • You are responsible for maintaining your smart ring hardware

7. Privacy

Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy. By using the App, you consent to the collection and use of your data as described therein.

8. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of the App are owned by Osprey Technology (Ingenious Technology LLC) and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

9. Account Deletion

You may delete your account at any time through the App settings or by visiting our Account Deletion page. Upon deletion, your personal data will be permanently removed from our servers.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Osprey Technology shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App, including but not limited to health decisions made based on App data.

11. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

12. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account at any time for violation of these Terms, without prior notice.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.

What items are returnable?

Items returned within 30 days, in original, unused, undamaged condition, and in original packaging are eligible.

How do I return a product?

Contact us via email to initiate a return. We will provide the necessary return instructions.

What is the warranty policy?

Activate your warranty for 12-month coverage. If not activated, a default 1-month warranty applies from the shipping date.

How are refunds processed?

Refunds are issued to the original payment method within 3–5 business days of receiving and inspecting the returned item.
