I recently purchased an automatic curtain opener, and overall, I’m quite pleased with its performance. Here’s a breakdown of my experience:Pros:Convenience: The ability to open and close my curtains with just a tap on my phone or a voice command is incredibly convenient. It has made my daily routine much smoother. I love that I can set a routine and have my smart device open it for me.Ease of Use: The installation process was straightforward, and the accompanying app is user-friendly. I was able to set it up and get it running in no time.Compatibility: It works well with various smart home systems. I've only used Amazon Alexa. I didn't want to add another app for one smart appliance!Quiet Operation: For the most part, the motor runs quietly, which is great for not disturbing the peace at home.Cons:Occasional Sticking: The only downside I’ve encountered is that the curtain opener occasionally sticks. It sticks where the curtain rod transition to the extension rod. This can be a bit frustrating, especially when I’m in a hurry. However, it’s not a deal-breaker for me as it doesn’t happen too often. A transition tape/comb thing was included. It helped a little but not enough. My suggestion is to get one continuous rod and not a 3 piece rod.Price: It’s a bit on the pricey side, but considering the convenience and functionality it offers, I believe it’s worth the investment.Overall I would recommend this product.
